AsSalam Alaikum Our Dear Community,

As we welcome the first day of fasting, may Ramadan be a time of spiritual growth, reflection, and unity. May our fasts be accepted, our prayers be answered, and our community be strengthened.

First Day of Ramadan


 The first day of Ramadan 1446 will be Saturday, March 1st, 2025. The first Taraweeh will be Friday night, February 28th. For information regarding the method used to determine the start of Ramadan, see the Fiqh Council of North America calendar.


Ramadan Prayer Times

Taraweeh & Khatam Al-Quran

Taraweeh

(Every Day after Isha'a)


  • We will pray 8 Rakah followed by Witr and then resume praying another 12 Rakah Taraweeh and Witr for those wishing to pray 20 Rakah.

  • Fajr Iqama will be 20 minutes after prayer time and 10 minutes after during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

  • Isha'a iqama will be at 7:30 PM starting on 3/1, 8:30 PM beginning on 3/9, and 8:45 PM starting on 3/21.

  • The Khatam al-Quran will be on the 29th night of Ramadan (Friday, March 28th). 

  • There will be a 5-minute nightly talk during the break in Taraweeh prayer related to Seerah (a significant figure in the history of Islam)


Tahajjud

We will be praying Tahajud at 3:30 AM each day for the last 9 days of Ramadan followed by Suhoor beginning on Friday, March 21st.

Ramadan Iftar & Suhoor

Mark your calendars and join ICN for community Iftars on weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun) and every day during the last ten nights. Additionally, Suhoor will be arranged for the community in the last ten days. You can select to sponsor a full or portion of the Iftar dinner/suhoor by using the link below.


ICN is also planning to have special Iftars and Suhoors for the Young Professionals, College Students, and New Muslim groups.JazakumAllahu khairan for your generosity. May Allah increase you in all that is good and reward you for your kindness. Ameen!

Upcoming Outreach & Dawwah Events

Invite Your Non-Muslim Friends & Family to Experience Iftar at ICN 12 South & ICN Bellevue Masjid


ICN will host special Ramadan Iftar Dinners and Islam 101 Presentations at ICN 12 South and ICN Bellevue Masjid. These gatherings allow non-Muslims to ask thoughtful questions, tour the mosques, and share a communal meal's blessings. Share this information with your non-Muslim family and friends!


Please note that the program on March 2nd will take place at 4:45 pm due to taking place before the daylight savings time change.



Zakat Al-Fitr & Fidya

Zakat Al-Fitr can be paid anytime during the month of Ramadan. The amount per person and instructions on how to pay will be provided when Ramadan begins.

 

We encourage everyone to pay early so that there is enough time to distribute to those in need. A form will be provided for any person or family in Middle Tennessee requesting Zakat Al-Fitr to verify eligibility.


Eid Al-Fitr Is On Sunday, March 30th
