As
the Nashville International Academy is looking to continue improvement
towards academic excellence, funds are always needed to help bring
about that quality.  In order to keep the best teachers, recruit the
best teachers, and train the teachers into becoming the best, the
school is looking to providing  competitive salaries for teachers,
providing benefits for teachers, and creating a strong training
budget.  Also, included in a supplemental fundraising to make ends
meet, the school is looking towards setting up a strong scholarship
program for students who can't afford the tuition in full but are good
students with good characters.  With the groundbreaking ceremony taking
place this Saturday for the new Islamic School, we would like to ensure
that the quality of education in the upcoming year matches the
aesthetics of a nice, new building.  Please see the job description

Job Description



For: NIA (Nashville International Academy) Fundraising manager



Responsibilities: 



  • Attend all meetings on fundraising and NIA planning for the next year.
    Become well informed about the school needs and plans.

  • Event planning: 1 big event in a hotel, plus some smaller groups meetings.

  • Collecting contacts from various sources and sending letters.

  • Make large number of phone calls to contacts who letters are sent to,
    and invite / encourage people to attend the events or ask them for
    other contacts who we can reach out to.

  • Follow up with fundraising committee members on any tasks they have to complete.

  • Recruit and manage volunteers by delegating specific tasks to them.

  • Research the possibility of applying for public grants.




Candidate
must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Must be
resourceful, computer savvy, and highly motivated.

 




This job will last about 4 months.



This job will pay minimum $500 per month.
